This ambitious, five-year plan is designed to illuminate the path forward for the youth mental health crisis by increasing access to evidence-based treatment, with a specific focus on equity for vulnerable populations. At the heart of the Illuminate initiative are four core strategies and fourteen projects, all aimed at reaching 80,000 children over the span of five years. With $150 million in new investments, Children’s Mercy is poised to make a profound impact on the landscape of pediatric mental healthcare, ensuring that every child receives the support and care they need to thrive.
As part of our partnership, Children’s Mercy will have the opportunity to share insights and expertise through a panel discussion at the upcoming foorum Nexus event.
